lyrics

Everything we’ve come to build has lost its essence
Making it hard to see the intent of its origin
Can the circumstances change despite the time that’s gone to waste
The indefinite end of our degeneration
Clinging to all that was lost in vain

Fragmented recollections may be all that you claim
A common reaction when your past is troubled by shame
There’s no room for improvement when settled in your current state
Consistency alters the aftermath

Living in fear of wasting time
Losing sight of all ambition
Perceive the past with open eyes
Treating your growth as a disguise

(Crawling back towards something to magnify)
(My reasoning for how I conducted my words)
(I guess I desire another method)
(Trace it all back to my differing perspective)

What beauty can be found in this phase of dejection
Unsure of what persists beyond our cause
(Still needing something more)
Can you see these events leading up to a catalyst
(Hide behind another mask)
Regain satisfaction
(Take away everything that I decide)
No chance to reconcile anything with anyone
(Is worth further falsifying)
(This time I reside in my absence)
(Starting again)

Cherish all that’s lost
In time what we devised will rise from the ash
Negligence has taken its toll
Proceed to right your wrongs
Prepare for what is to come

There is no reason to run
A shadow has casted above where the ashes still flow
Keep in mind, this will soon come to pass

Seems to me everything just keeps testing my patience
It’s hard to see the reason why our world became so vacant
Thinking we had it all
Never envisioned a sudden fall
Saying good riddance to everything that you completed forevermore
I’m exhausted by the fear of what remains unclear
No sense in saving what’s ruined

(Break)
(Reduced arrangements)
(Complicated just for my amusement)
(Restructure how I craft my art)
(Am I lying to myself)
(My heart feels betrayed by)

Desolation plagues us all
(Circumstances I brought forth)
Can we endure this change?
(Another day spent)
When will we know if this was a test of our resilience?
(Chasing approval from no one in particular)
Awaiting our revival
Cope with the losses day after day
(Gone without a trace behind the path that I left)
Nothing will ever replace their value
Still clinging on to all that was lost in vain
(Sever the cord that's wrapped around my neck)

This is the way we rid of ourselves
Leaving the world in the filth of all our dismay

How could it all end here?
A situation out of my control
A victim of circumstance
This culmination was inevitable

I’ve lost sight of all ambition
(Mortified to re-enact)
Life in fear of wasting time
(The day I thought I'd lost another)
Clouded eyes perceive no path
(Second chance)
Use your growth as a disguise
(And gave myself away)
